Not Really Up To Much

Truman posing skillfully for my new camera! He's so handsome I can't stand it!
We had such a lovely Christmas as I told you about last time. With the exception of an ill-advised trip to Liverpool  I've been properly taking it easy and Mr Woo has been out for the count with a cold. Besides going to the hospital for my checks I've only ventured as far as the village shop. I know lots of people recommend walking as much as possible to help baby get into position...I just can't go very far. My whole bump gets rock hard and feels full of cramps that won't stop until I sit down. SO the walking option isn't a great one for me.
Check the size of my 37 week bump and me with no makeup, at least my hair is clean!!!

Changing pad cover all cut out!

I've tried to stay busy with a few little projects like a cover for the changing pad & some hair bows for Baby Woo.

Baby Woo HAD to have at  least one leopard print bow! There's a little leopard accent on the silver bow too ;)
Do you see my fab Union Jack pincushion??? It was a gift from Vicky,  from Alexandra's Wishes, for receiving my spouse visa a couple of years ago! She is so talented and so thoughtful!

The gingham one is Baby Woo's Dorothy Gale bow! Like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz's dress and a red vintage button to hint at the Ruby Slippers :)
There's also the bright green one a nod to the Emerald City.
I must also show you the gorgeous bows Auntie Lindsay sent! I'll have an excuse to play with my new camera again!
some more handsome poses by our little man, I know I'm a bit prejudiced, but he is incredibly cute!

On my way to the shop! Oh my swollen nose & face....I've been assured it does go back to normal....right???

And it won't be long til my mom comes to visit!

Jet Lag!

Hello my friends! I'm back in the UK! We arrived in London at 6:30 GMT yesterday and arrived back at our little flat around 4pm. Boy oh boy we were tired!
Our little Truman was so excited to see us much to my surprise, he usually won't speak to us if we've not been home a lot.
I've found that he's been ripping up carpet though - very bad news. Any carpet patching advice is extremely welcome.

Very good news - I was allowed back into the UK without my identity card which I'd sent to the DVLA as part of my application for my provisional license aka learner's permit. My provisional license was in the large pile of post waiting for us! It was issued on Christmas eve :D

Today we'll both be laying around and adjusting to this time zone. I was woken by Truman's carpet ripping and found that it's snowing! Kelsall is once again a winter wonderland!

So I'm sitting in bed with my lap top and phone loaded up with podcasts and games. This is good!

The Cat is Away!

Mr Woo has gone away to visit his dad for a few days. I feel like I'm getting away with something as I'm on my own! It's just me and my little furry friends.
Truman.
Daisy.
Daisy doesn't like me, or any other female for that matter, so I'll just be feeding her carrots and toast treats through the bars of her cage.
Truman lives under my bed so I see a lot of him, ha! He does actually live under my bed - it's his kingdom. And no one had better even try to move anything from under there! My notebook fell under the bed and when I went to pull it out he charged & grunted at me! Eek! He often shows up snorffelling when he wants cuddles.

THE Tea Party is on Saturday!!! I've ordered some pretty little cupcake cases for the lemon cupcakes and some similar napkins!
aren't they pretty!

I'm going to make my Fannie Farmer yellow cupcakes, fill them with lemon curd and ice them with lemon vanilla butter cream! Similar to the 4th of July cupcakes I made....only these will be filled with gorgeousness!
Oh! And of course a carrot cake birthday cake!

I've been making pastel circle garlands and paper chains too :)
this sort of thing...haven't taken photos of mine yet!
same deal...haven't photo-ed mine yet!
I've got some photos to work on tomorrow! My first day on my own!
First of all I need to get a photo of my hanger collage for the Fritzi Marie giveaway! I'm behind! I mean, my collage is done, but I've not photoed it yet!
Then I'd better start cleaning one room at a time for our fancy party!

just hangin out with my pal

Don't let that cute face fool you! He is one naughty bunny!

I just found my lime green mary janes under my bed.
Now that they're ruined I might recycle them into a Pea Pendant...
and my red polka dot flip flops....

Oh...and my wallpaper....

and my notebook!

He's also "customised" most of my pyjamas, and books and magazines...and cables...

If he wasn't so cute he'd be out on his giant ears!!!
