You might be wondering why there are so many American flag photos. Matilda became an American citizen last month! So she has official dual citizenship! We wanted her to have as many options as possible for her future.

Will I Ever Blog Again?

I hope so! My days and nights are filled to the brim with the most wondrous moments. They are also full of diaper changes, feeds, taking photos of the cuteness overloads, folding tons to tiny clothes, hunting for missing socks - one is always missing....and trying to sneak a shower and cup of tea in too.
I am totally and completely besotted with my Little Mouse, Matilda Rose Mae.

Some things fall to the bottom of the priority list like dusting (yessss!) and sadly, blogging. I really need both hands to write properly, I can facebook just fine with one hand but anything longer than one sentence is a challenge.

Here are just a few reasons I've been absent from the blog world....

Daddy Woo calls after bath in the hooded towel time "baby ET time". Do you remember the scene from ET when he's riding with Elliot on the bike and is covered in a blanket? Yeah...that.

Nearly 4 months have passed since this tiny treasure joined us making us a family. These months have FLOWN! What was life like before she arrived? I can't recall. But I do know it'll never be the same.

An Exciting Afternoon!

Last weekend we has a couple of special guests as Chez Woo.

Rob photographed our wedding back in 2008. He did such a beautiful natural job.

This time he was photographing our baby girl!

After our wedding Rob's wife, Vicky, and I began chatting crafty and quickly became friends. But we hadn't had the opportunity to meet until this past weekend. It felt like a reunion rather than a first meeting. Mrs Wishes has been sooo generous to Matilda. She wasn't able to attend the baby shower but still sent gifts and onesies/baby grows that she'd decorated beautifully. This weekend she brought a hand crotcheted blanket that is just stunning!
Before I forget to mention it Vicky was the behind the scenes photographer and assistant for the day so she got some fun photos of her own :)

Little Miss Woo hadn't taken her morning nap and was a crab-apple for her big modelling job. Even being crabby she was still pretty good because she's such a good baby :)
I got a message today saying the editing is almost finished so I'll soon have some great photos of Matilda Rose Mae to share!

2 months!

 Two months old! Trying really hard to roll over, very busy looking around, smiling loads and chatting away :)
The dr. said Matilda behaves like a much older baby and is super strong! Tell me about it! You try dressing or changing a very wiggly, very strong little munchkin!
She had her first shots the other day. It was horrible, I cried too. But thankfully there were no bad side effects that I could tell, no fever & no crankiness! Amazing.

I'm very busy washing clothes and bottles and a tiny bottom all the time. We're getting into a routine, one day I'll be back properly....until then I'm just going to savor these precious days x
